We celebrate with a Jubilee dinner at the House of Nobility. The event starts with a meeting in the Session Hall where you should have take your place at 6.20 pm. Invitations have been sent to all members of our Association. You must inform about your wish to participate on March 2 at the latest.

Angelika Knäpper Gallery ställer ut den belgiske konstnären Jan De Vliegher 25 april - 24 maj 2009

Jan De Vliegher, född 1964 är en belgisk konstnär som bor och arbetar i Brugge. Sedan slutet av 1980-talet har hans måleri uppmärksammats stor på kontinenten och ställts ut i separat- och samlingsutställningar runtom Europa.

I samband med utställningen har Angelika Knäpper Gallery producerat en katalog över De Vliegher senaste arbete med titeln Facades and Statues.

Galleriet är öppet tisdag till fredag från kl. 11-18, samt lördag och söndag kl. 12-16 office@angelikaknappergallery.com

Spring 2007

• January 30 at 6 pm to 8 pm  

We are all invited by Ambassador Raoul Delcorde and his wife to a buffet-dinner on January 30 between 6 and 8 pm. Normally close to 100 Members enjoy this traditional and highly appreciated opportunity to meet in their most charming residence.

• February 24 at 4 pm

25 tickets are reserved for us to the Brel performance at Vasateatern. If the wish to participate is bigger we will try to buy more tickets. Please register your interest soonest to Lut Nordén or to Olle Allgårdh. We have to pay for the tickets we have reserved on February 3 at the latest. The cost for a ticket is SEK 375. If their is an interest we could also join afterwards for a drink or a beer – and a light meal - at a nearby restaurant such as Belgobaren.

• March 14 

Lars Tobisson will be our guest speaker at a lunch. At Scandic Sergel Plaza. At noon.

Cost: SEK 150 for members, SEK 180 for non-members. Announce your participation on March 7 at the latest.

• May 3

12.00 noon Annual Meeting, Stallmästaregården, Stockholm followed by a lunch where Ambadssador Delcorde will speak on Belgian foreign policy.

• May 8

12.00 noon, lunch in Malmö at SAS/Radisson Hotel in connection with a visit to Skåne by Ambassador Delcorde and the Trade Counsellors for Flanders and Wallonia.

  • Oct 19-21 Unique "Chef visit" from Wallonia
    For the first time in Sweden, a famous Walloon "Chef", Benoît Gersdorf will come to Stockholm to perform his art during three days only on October 19-20-21, 2005 at the not less famous location of Gondolen, overviewing Stockholm.
    Monsieur Gersdorf is a starred Chef in the world famous Guide Michelin with his restaurant "L'Essentiel" in Temploux, a charming little town in the neighbourhood of Namur. About his restaurant, Michelin writes that it is "an essential address to get away from it all and tickle your tastebuds". An excellent reason to come and experience the true Walloon cuisine of today!
    The venue of Benoît Gersdorf is the fruit of an initiative of the Walloon Export Agency and Foreign Investment office at the Embassy of Stockholm, in close collaboration with Ambassador Delcorde and most of all, of a new friendship between Erik Lallerstedt, the very famous Swedish Chef and Benoît Gersdorf.
    In this year marking the centennial of the birth of Queen Astrid, Queen of Belgians, Princess of Sweden, year also marking the 175^th anniversary of the foundation of Belgium and the 25^th anniversary of Federalism, this is a unique opportunity to taste the best of Wallonia.
